At Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, each new student is assigned to an academic consultant recommended by the relevant department heads and approved by the faculty/college committee. The academic advisor serves as a guide for students on courses and exams, university regulations, or other relevant issues related to education and training. Students remain under the supervision of these advisors until graduation. However, it is the student's responsibility to choose courses in accordance with the course prerequisites, advisor's recommendations, department curriculum, and graduation requirements.
